Physician Bio
Dr. Nayak’s desire to become a physician stems from the deep compassion he felt for the people with his native India. Trained as a general surgeon, practiced in India and taught at the medical school where he did his post-graduate education. For years he worked in a government hospital in India, providing his services for free to the neediest of his patients. Dr. Nayak moved to eastern Cincinnati suburbs in 1980, and practiced solo for 14 years before joining his colleagues in a group practice. He is married with 3 children; two of his sons are orthopedic surgeons and his daughter works at the University of Cincinnati in the H.R. dept. He has seven grandchildren.
As of 2007, Dr. Nayak no longer performs surgery; however, he continues his office orthopedic practice.
