About the GAP Program
Wellington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine is committed to help our patients achieve their health care goals. Our GAP programs are safe, effective and affordable. The program is supervised by a licensed athletic trainer. They understand the injury, the healing process and the proper progression for a safe return to activity. Whether you had a total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, an ACL reconstruction or any other general orthopedic injury, the GAP program will assist you with a safe return to you chosen activity by introducing a variety of specific functional exercises. These exercises will be done in conjunction with your physician and physical therapy team. Your therapy clinician can help you determine which GAP program will help meet your activity goals. Once the decision has been made, we will set up an appointment with one of our licensed athletic trainers so you can get started. The program offers both single visits and package pricing.
