Spine Rehabilitation

Customized spine rehabilitation programs based on a comprehensive evaluation. Typical programs include body mechanics training, postural awareness training, extremity mobility and trunk stability as well as heavy doses of hands-on, manual techniques. Wellington Therapy Services has multiple clinicians at various offices working toward advanced Certification in Manual Therapy specific to spinal conditions and rehabilitation.

 

Work Conditioning

Rehabilitation for injured workers geared toward maximizing function and efficiently getting injured workers back to work.

This program will focus on helping you safely return to work after your injury or surgery. Your care will be guided by one of our licensed health care providers. We will work closely with your workers comp representative to ensure you are ready to return to the demands of your job.

 

Hand Therapy

Hand Therapy is rehabilitation for patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow. The nature of hand injury requires a provider with a high degree of specialization that requires extensive continuing education and often, advanced certification.

Post-operative care typically includes:
  • Management of hypertrophic or hypersensitive scarring
  • Initiation of controlled post-operative joint movement
  • Reduction of post-operative swelling
  • Management of post-operative wounds
  • Splint fabrication to protect operative procedures
  • Initiation of Home exercise programs
Conservative and preventative care for:
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Tennis elbow
  • Acute and chronic pain syndromes arthritis
