Physician Bio

For Dr. Valentin, medicine was a natural career choice. He’s a third-generation doctor who counts ten physicians among his close relatives, including both parents and his wife, who is a developmental pediatrician. “My family introduced me very early on to the idea of helping people,” Dr. Valentin says.

Dr Valentin grew up in West Virginia, three hours east of Cincinnati. Since graduating from Xavier University, he has remained a diehard Xavier basketball fan. After completing, his medical education, he returned to West Virginia in private practice in 2000. He joined Wellington Orthopaedic in 2002, and resides on the east side of Cincinnati with his two children and wife, Harriet, a developmental-behavioral pediatrician at Children’s Hospital. His other personal interests include cycling and coaching his son’s grade school basketball team.

A board-certified physiatrist, Dr. Cliff Valentin is an integral member of the Wellington spine care team and cialis professional support team. He specializes in providing comprehensive care for neck and back pain without surgery. Dr Valentin states, “The are majority of spine issues can be treated non surgically. There are many conservative options for treatment and recovery.” Among the conditions he treats are acute back strains, compression fractures related to osteoporosis, arthritis, herniated discs, and pinched or entrapped nerves. He offers electrodiagnostic testing, including EMGs and nerve conduction studies, and he employs a wide range of treatment options. They include education, physical therapy, braces, medication and interventional spine procedures.
