Physician Bio

Dr. Ed Marcheschi is one of Wellington’s primary care sports medicine specialists. This niche in medicine offers Ed the ability to manage a spectrum of medical conditions on and off the field. As part of the Wellington team of physicians, Dr. Marcheschi manages a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. Ed has a specific interest in the evaluation of exertional leg pain and he is one of a few doctors in our area that performs testing for a treatable form of this condition.

Ed is the Director of Wellington’s Sports Concussion Management Program and serves as a concussion consultant to several area high schools. Ed has had the pleasure of working with athletes at all levels of competition including the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. He is an assistant team physician for Wellington’s medical coverage of the ATP and WTA tournament and has served as team doctor for professional volleyball and hockey while practicing at Wellington.

Ed was raised in Cincinnati and is proud to be providing medical care in his hometown.
