Physician Bio

Dr. Favorito is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in the treatment of all shoulder, knee and sports medicine problems. He has a special interest in the treatment of specific shoulder disorders including instability, rotator cuff tears and shoulder arthritis.

Dr. Favorito has been a team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Cyclones and Cincinnati Swarm. He currently serves as the medical director for the Cincinnati Ballet and co-medical director for the ATP and WTA tennis tournaments in Mason, Ohio. He is active in his community and has been the team physician for Anderson High School since 2004.

Dr. Favorito is actively involved with teaching and research. He lectures locally and nationally and serves as a Master instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is a professor for Wellington Orthopaedic and University of Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship. He has had multiple publications and presentations at local and national meetings. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroscopy. He is presently one of 3 clinical investigators in the United States chosen to participate in a research study for patients undergoing shoulder replacement.
