I have an allowed claim. Will all services be covered under my claim?
Not necessarily. Depending on your claim, state where the injury occurred and employer classification, some services may not be covered. Wellington’s Worker’s Compensation staff can better address this request on a one on one basis. Please contact the office for further information.

Will Wellington Orthopaedics treat ALL of my Worker’s Compensation claims?
Wellington physicians’ provide comprehensive orthopedic care; however, the date of injury and the body part involved will be considered.

Why should I file a Worker’s Compensation claim instead of using my private insurance?
There are a couple of issues to consider: • Private insurance companies will not pay for work related injuries. • Not filing in a timely manner could deny a legitimate claim. Creating additional complications for the injured worker.

How long does it take to get a Worker’s Compensation claim processed?
The average time frame is 28 days; however, there may be other factors involved that could lessen or extended this process.

I have a Claim Number so does that mean my claim is allowed?
No, a Claim Number establishes a record of injury being filed and all transactions affiliated with that injury will be recorded under that number.
