Surgical Sports Medicine

Five of Wellington's orthopaedic surgeons have completed specialized sports medicine fellowship training programs. They include Robert Heidt Jr., M.D., Warren Harding, M.D., Ronald Hess, D.O., Paul Favorito, M.D., and George Shybut, M.D. They have extensive arthroscopic training and together perform more than 1,000 arthroscopic procedures each year, focusing largely on the knee and shoulder care.

Drs. Reilly, Stanfield, Lee and Charles Miller, MD, also are members of Wellington's Sports Medicine treatment team.  Each has specialized surgical training and they treat numerous patients each year who have sports related injuries or illnesses.

Together, Wellington's Sports Medicine physicians provide care to many professional, collegiate, high school and grade school athletes.
