Dr. Yuhas’ love of science and medicine began when he was an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He then took his passion for medicine to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. Dr. Yuhas jumped at the chance to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Kentucky, and furthered his orthopaedic education with a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the prestigious Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
Throughout his residency, Dr. Yuhas worked on several important research projects and presentations, including a special interest in upper extremity motion analysis at Shriners Hospital for Children in Lexington. He’s extremely experienced in the treatment of both pediatric and adult orthopaedic trauma, as well as in high school and college sports injuries. Thanks to his hand, wrist, and elbow fellowship, Dr. Yuhas has a strong background in diagnosing and treating degenerative conditions, wrist arthroscopy, microvascular surgery nerve disorders like carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel, and upper extremity trauma.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Yuhas is also heavily involved in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand’s education committee as a candidate member.
Proud to call Cincinnati his home, Dr. Yuhas enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter when not helping patients.
