Eastgate, OH – OrthoCincy Wellington Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine now offers expanded walk-in urgent care service at their Eastgate location – 4355 Ferguson Dr., Cincinnati, making it the fourth Greater Cincinnati location to offer this appointment-free service with three locations already offered by partner OrthoCincy in Northern Kentucky.


OrthoCincy Wellington in Eastgate (OH): Monday – Friday, 9a.m.-5p.m.

OrthoCincy in Florence & Highland Heights (campus of NKU): Monday – Friday, 9a.m.-5p.m.

OrthoCincy in Edgewood: Monday – Friday, 9a.m.-9p.m. & Saturday, 9a.m.-1p.m.


A care provider and staff are dedicated to walk-in patients, so no appointment is ever needed.

“We strive to increase access to services for patients at locations that are convenient to them,” said Dr. Robert Rhoad - hand, wrist and elbow surgeon. “The pandemic has shown that patients are looking more than ever for safe, cost-effective alternatives to traditional emergency rooms.”

CDC guidelines are followed to ensure best practices provide patients and staff with a safe environment.

“Whether you are a little leaguer or a baby boomer, our expert staff is available to promptly treat fractures, sprains, strains and more,” added Dr. Amelia Wiggins - knee, shoulder and sports medicine specialist. “With multiple locations, days and hours, we hope to offer a time that is convenient to our patients’ busy schedules and active lifestyles.”

With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Wiggins has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports medicine injuries. She specializes in knee & shoulder arthroscopy with interest in ACL injuries, patella instability, cartilage restoration, and shoulder instability.
