Working side-by-side with our physical therapists, Wellington's physical therapy assistants serve as an important resource to the orthopaedic team. These licensed professionals are skilled in providing a wide range of therapeutic treatments to help improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent future injury.
Our physical therapy assistants also provide individualized education for patients who need to learn exercises or new methods for managing daily activities. They have earned an associate's degree in physical therapy assisting with emphasis on human anatomy and physiology and have completed clinical internships.
