Amelia J. Wiggins, DO, is a board-certified fellowship trained sports medicine, orthopaedic surgeon. She went on to complete a residency for orthopedic surgery at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. With a keen interest in sports medicine, Dr. Wiggins went on to complete a prestigious sports medicine fellowship with Wellington Orthopaedic Sports Medicine / University of Cincinnati. During her time as a fellow, she authored an award-winning paper on the risk of secondary ACL injury in young athletes.

Dr. Wiggins truly enjoys giving back to her community, serving as team physician for West Clermont High School, North Adams High School, West Union High School, Peebles High School, Eastern High School, and the Clermont Crew.  She also assists in the medical care of the Cincinnati Ballet and FC Cincinnati. Dr. Wiggins is an associate professor with A.T Still University and continues to give back to the medical community by mentoring local high school students through a Medical Explorer program.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Wiggins enjoys time with her husband and son and continues to live an active lifestyle that includes hiking, yoga, rowing, biking. Her athletic pursuits keep her in touch with the local sports community and athletes of all ages.
