Rhoad, Robert C., MD
Robert C. Rhoad, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating the hand, wrist and elbow, and microvascular reconstruction. After graduating with distinction from the University of Virginia, Dr. Rhoad completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his internship and residency in Orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Rhoad joined Wellington after studying under a Fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the renowned Hand Center of San Antonio, TX. He is currently serving as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Anderson Mercy Hospital.
His musical background in percussion, piano, and guitar provides a unique insight into the intricacies of hand and upper extremity function. �The hand is a vital extension of the individual. Each person uses his hands for separate, yet equally important, personal expression and function. I try to understand the whole person to better learn how I may serve their individual needs.�
He has co-authored numerous publications, abstracts, and national presentations regarding hand surgery and orthopaedic medicine. He is married with two sons.
Dr. Rhoad sees patients at the Anderson, Mt. Auburn, Blue Ash, and Eastgate offices.
