Brent N. Miller, DO

Dr. Miller's interest in rehabilitation medicine derives from his experiences in academics and soccer. He grew up in the Cincinnati area and moved to West Virginia to begin his college years at Marshall University. At Marshall, he played soccer and graduated with honors in Cell Biology. His interest in rehabilitation medicine grew after personally experiencing athletic injuries as well as from helping take care of his grandmother as a child. Dr. Miller says, "I take a special interest in returning a patient to their optimal level of function, so that they can reintegrate back into the daily routines they enjoy."
As a physiatrist, Dr. Miller specializes in non-surgical evaluation and treatment of spine conditions and electro-diagnostic medicine. Dr. Miller uses a multidisciplinary approach to spine care that may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic modalities, medications, manual medicine, and assistive equipment.
Dr. Miller is one of three sons of Marshall and Joy Miller of Lebanon, Ohio. Upon completion of high school, Dr. Miller received a bachelor's degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He completed his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his Physical Medicine Residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
While a resident at Ohio State University, Dr. Mller participated in community service, teaching conferences at local nursing homes. He was a volunteer physician for the Ohio Wheelchair Games, and he was a Columbus High School football team physician. Academically, he won an award for his achievement in electro-diagnostic medicine and gave lectures in his senior year at the AAPMR and the AAP national conferences. In addition, he presented posters and abstracts at National Convention and was the coordinator for the Ohio State Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sports Medicine journal club.
